It is with great pleasure that Cultura Inglesa Belo Horizonte and the Association of Latin American British Cultural Institutes – LABCI – welcome you to the 18th LABCI Conference. It is one of the most significant events in ELT development globally, especially in Latin America, bringing together professionals from different parts of the world to exchange experiences, practices and ideas.
The conference will offer a wide array of development opportunities, providing participants with access to plenary sessions, keynote speeches, roundtables, workshops, and seminars, all of which to occur online. Our organising committee is committed to ensuring all participants have the chance to engage in a series of memorable and inspiring learning opportunities.
The LABCI Conference has occurred biannually since 1985. This year will be the first in its history to embrace its members and professionals outside the participating institutes. Such change is part of our mission to share knowledge with wider audiences, benefitting from the advantages of hosting such a significant event online.
